The Nike Kobe 5 Protro “Big Stage/Parade” is a special colorway of Kobe Bryant’s signature shoe with Nike Basketball that celebrates the 10th Anniversary of his 5th NBA Championship. The leader of the talent-laden Los Angeles Lakers squad during the 2009-2010 NBA season, Bryant’s 5th and final NBA Championship victory was perhaps the sweetest victory of the five. Here, Nike honors Kobe’s legacy on this flashy design. The upper combines elements of two colorways, the Nike Kobe Protro 5 “Big Stage” that was worn by Kobe during the 2010 NBA Finals, and the player exclusive “Parade” design that Bryant wore during the Lakers’ championship parade. Luxurious championship gold accenting can be found on the Swoosh that appears on either side, as well as on the plastic heel cup and mesh detailing around the collar.
